France will host the 2024 Summer Olympics football competition from July 24 to August 10, 2024. In addition to Paris, the Olympic host city, there will be soccer matches at Bordeaux, Décines-Charpieu (near Lyon), Marseille, Nantes, Nice, and Saint-Étienne.
The two events that are scheduled to be contested are men’s and women’s competitions. Associations with a FIFA affiliation are allowed to field teams in the competition. Men’s teams are confined to under-23 players (born on or after January 1, 2001) and are only allowed to include three overage players, but women’s teams are not age restricted.
Canada is the defending women’s champion, and Brazil is the two-time men’s champion.
Football Soccer Summer Olympics – Men’s qualification
There will be sixteen teams competing in the men’s football competition in the Summer Olympics in 2024. Fifteen men’s national under-23 teams qualified for or will qualify from the tournaments of the six continental confederations, in addition to the host country, France.
the FIFA Council approved the slot allocation for the 2024 Summer Olympics. The host nation France, earns automatic qualification to the tournament. For the remaining 15 slots, the AFC and CAF each received 3.5 slots, UEFA received 3 slots, CONCACAF and CONMEBOL received 2 slots, and the OFC received 1 slot.

When to watch soccer during the 2024 Paris Olympic Games
Soccer will once again begin before the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. The competitions for the men’s and women’s divisions will take place from Wednesday, July 24 to Saturday, August 10.
American soccer fans will get access to live Olympic soccer matches all day long. Games will begin at 9:00 a.m. ET and end at 3:30 p.m. ET.
In the men’s tournament, sixteen countries will compete, and in the women’s tournament, twelve countries will compete.
